CePCoR Library
The CePCoR library is located in the building of the “ASTRA Heritage Center” Sibiu, within the CePCoR service.
CePCoR, benefits from a specialized documentary point, with a rich inventory of books and publications (over 200 volumes) of the most important specialized publishing houses and institutions in the field of conservation and restoration in the country, but mainly abroad.
The library, open to all specialists in the field of restoration conservation, interested museographers and students, provides for documentation, special editions such as ICOM-CC Triennial Volumes, IIC Congress Volumes, specialized journals “Studies in Conservation”, “Technical Bulletins”, “ISIS ”,“ ICC Notes ”, etc. publications with high quality and exceptional scientific content.
The major interest of CePCoR in creating the documentary base is mainly given to the field of Conservation, but also covers areas such as restoration on supports, restoration of buildings, physical and chemical investigations, course platforms, catalogs. Most publications are in English.
Books in the CePCoR library can be consulted at the institution and are not on loan outside.
