Animate ASTRA! - Painting workshops on traditional furniture

From 18 to 19 July 2023, from 12:00 to 15:00, ASTRA Museum organizes painting workshops on traditional furniture in the area of the Country Fair, as part of the cultural project Animate ASTRA 2023. Negrescu Salomea and Cecoi Daniela, who arrived in Sibiu, will paint traditional models of Moldovan folk art. The young artists graduated from the Mihai Bătrânu School of Arts in the city of Dondușeni, painting section, and have perfected their skills in traditional painting of folk art, landscapes, portraits and religious art. Those interested are expected to take part in the painting workshops organized in the Open Air Museum in Dumbrava Sibiului.
The events are part of the Animate ASTRA! programme, a project co-funded by Sibiu City Hall through the Cultural Agenda 2023.
