School in the Traditional Village - Workshop on making toys from corn husks

From 12 to 18 June 2023, at the ASTRA Museum, school is different. School has started in the traditional village! In the Ethno-Tehno-Park area, as part of the School in the Traditional Village educational program, educational workshops and craft demonstrations will be held by folk craftspeople from all over the country, with various themes and with the aim of recreating a sequence of life in the traditional Romanian village.

The Section of Museum Education. Heritage Interpretation proposes the following activities for young visitors:

1. Workshop on making toys from corn husks - Julianna Balint, 12-18 June, 10.30 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 5.30 pm
2. Interactive theatre - From the Nowhere - here, there, everywhere - Epic Education Theatre, from 17 to 18 June, on 17 June - 12.00 and 18 June - 12.30
   
3. Symphonic music performance - Sibiu Philharmonic, on June 17 - Music from cartoons, 4 pm
4. Tyrolean traverse in the forest area with the Mountain Rescue Team - playground near the Country Fair, on 17 June, from 11 am to 2 pm
5. We learn about the necessary equipment for hiking with the Mountain Rescue Team on June 18, at 2 p.m.

Participation in workshops, performances and tyrolean traverse is based on the museum admission ticket.
